Sports Played at Trinity College
Through our sporting programmes, students at Trinity College are introduced to the lessons of teamwork, risk and the values of fairness.
Students are exposed to loss as well as success;
courage as well as fear, excellence as well as mediocrity. Our
sporting
programme offers wonderful and unique opportunities to educate
in the fullest sense of that term. As an educational institution
we are best placed to provide that fundamental educational
link between the body and education in a meaningful manner.
Because our teachers and coaches commit themselves to this aspect of our mission we have a remarkable pool of educational experience to call upon. Trinity has committed resources to increase the profile, coaching standards and facilities to ensure that the best programmes possible are offered to all students.
One of the distinguishing features of our College is the comprehensive programme we offer and the convenience and security this provides for parents. We wish to continue to provide that point of difference and reaffirm that offering a comprehensive sporting programme at Trinity College is critical to meeting our College aims.
